Your duties
You will provide care according to the client’s needs and care plan:
- Personal care: assistance with washing, dressing and mobility always with dignity and respect.

Companionship: presence, conversation and moral support to break isolation.

Meals & home: meal preparation, light housework, laundry.

Shopping & prescriptions: shopping, collecting prescriptions, small favours.

Medication (according to protocol): reminders/assistance and coordination with healthcare professionals.

Mobility & fall prevention: support and assistance with moving around.

Specialised care: dementia/Alzheimer’s, respite, night care, live-in care, palliative care.

Care Assistant
Provides day-to-day personal care and companionship, helping clients stay independent and safe at home.

Senior Carer
Experienced carer who guides practice, mentors colleagues, and ensures care plans are followed to a high standard.

Live-in Carer
Lives in the client’s home to provide round-the-clock support, from personal care to household tasks and companionship.

Night / Week-end
Works scheduled out-of-hours shifts to deliver reliable support, reassurance, and timely assistance overnight or at weekends.

On-the-job mentoring

Possible progression
