Your duties

You will provide care according to the client’s needs and care plan:

  • Personal care: assistance with washing, dressing and mobility always with dignity and respect.
  • Companionship: presence, conversation and moral support to break isolation.

  • Meals & home: meal preparation, light housework, laundry.

  • Shopping & prescriptions: shopping, collecting prescriptions, small favours.

  • Medication (according to protocol): reminders/assistance and coordination with healthcare professionals.

  • Mobility & fall prevention: support and assistance with moving around.

  • Specialised care: dementia/Alzheimer’s, respite, night care, live-in care, palliative care.

Provides day-to-day personal care and companionship, helping clients stay independent and safe at home.

Experienced carer who guides practice, mentors colleagues, and ensures care plans are followed to a high standard.
